I Love You Like a Donut on Saturday Morning
I've been one busy illustrator lately. I am trying to find a balance between drawing, printing, packaging, shipping and promoting. I have just decided that this year is going to be hard while I figure it all out and that is just fine. I have amazing projects and people coming my way and that is all that I've ever wanted. So here is what I've been up to...
// ::Friday:: I love this style! I decided these gals will be going into my shop eventually. They are so quirky and something different so I think making them into greeting cards would be best. I usually draw in this style when my work gets too stiff (you can see the lines in this piece are all over the place). I like my work to look like the gals are moving and convey a certain feeling.
// packaging the first orders for my shop!
// drinking a cup of joe and looking at endless amounts of children's books for an upcoming project! (so excited for this...stay tuned)
// dreams come true...piles of donuts.
// ::checkers:: another quirky sketch
// when you're having a bad day, there's always lipstick
// ::psl:: a fall ensemble with a pumpkin spice latte in hand. Just in time for the change in weather these past few days. I'm pumped about it.
// enjoying a "day off" with my nanny boys at Target Field
// wide brimmed hat, oversized scarf, leopard print clutch, loafers and a coffee. She'll be in the shop soon!!
